The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading organic fiber standard for textiles which covers social, chemical and environmental requirements at every stage of the production process. The purpose of this standard is to determine the requirements that guarantee the organic status of textile products, from the harvest of raw cotton to production based on environmental and social sensitivity and labeling that can provide assurance to the end user. GOTS is applicable for products containing at least 70% natural fiber. Within the scope of the standard, all production stages, starting from the processing of yarn and fiber, from the last company to the last seller of the trade, must be certified.

The standard is updated every 3 years and the current version GOTS 6.0 was published on March 1, 2020.

MYD Endüstriyel has its GOTS certificate since 2018 and continues to expand the certified product list by obtaining v6.0 approval.
